Join us for a creative exploration of nature and printmaking with the Summerville Artist Guild! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to transform leaves, flowers, and natural objects into beautiful, colorful prints full of texture and detail.

Guided by printmaker, painter, and educator Marian Papon, participants will experiment with printing a variety of leaves, flowers, and plants on paper, card stock, and fabric. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with an assortment of your own prints plus a hand-printed canvas tote to take home.

All supplies are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring along their own natural materials. Collect leaves, flowers, or other flat plant items the morning of or the day before the workshop, and press them between sheets of waxed paper to keep them fresh.

We’ll be working with printing inks, so be ready to get a little messy and have fun! Feel free to bring an old T-shirt or apron if you’d like to protect your clothes.
