Palmetto Islands County Park will host its next Palmetto Park Jam on Sunday, Oct. 12. Guests will jam with Idlewild Revival, a Charleston-based Allman Brothers tribute band, making for the perfect afternoon for fans of the band or just anyone who loves great music.

Gates for the event open at 11 a.m., and Novatones will open the show at 12 p.m. Idlewild Revival will play starting at 1:30 p.m.

Held in a family-friendly festival atmosphere in the meadow at Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park, the event will also feature food trucks and craft vendors.

Concert admission will be charged per vehicle, so groups of guests should arrive together in the same vehicle. Standard sized vehicles of up to 15 people will be $20 per vehicle in advance, or $30 per vehicle at the gate, if available. Gold Pass holders will receive free admission at the gate (one vehicle of up to 15 people per Gold Pass presented on site; no ticket is required, but early arrival is recommended in case of a sellout. Gold Pass membership does not guarantee admission to events that have sold out). Parking is limited at Palmetto Islands County Park, so a limited number of tickets will be sold and the event could sell out in advance. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to the event. Outside food, alcohol and coolers are prohibited at Palmetto Park Jam. Dogs are welcome, but must remain leashed.

Palmetto Islands County Park will be closed to non-concert goers during the day on Sunday, Oct.12 for event setup, reopening to the public at 4:30 p.m.
