Yonder Field has announced that a family-oriented event, the Solar Eclipse Festival, will be the first official festival at the new outdoor event space in Bowman, SC on Monday, August 21. 

This full day of family fun includes THE GREAT INFLATABLE RACE, a giant inflatable obstacle course, music featuring Uncle Kracker as well as South Carolina’s own EDWIN McCAIN and COREY SMITH, and a first run movie to end the night. The Great Inflatable Race includes team competitions, a children’s competition, and an opportunity for kids of all ages to join in during “Open Play.” The team and children’s competitions will include fantastic prizes for the winners as well as costume contests for both teams and kids. 

Guests will have the opportunity to camp overnight on Sunday, August 20 starting at 4pm and may stay through 10am on Tuesday, August 22. 

“This is a wonderful opportunity for families to make lifetime memories together,” says Stacie Darr White, President and General Manager of Yonder Field. “The last time a total solar eclipse took place in the United States was 38 years ago and we are incredibly fortunate that Yonder Field is located in the path of totality for South Carolina. The surrounding race, fantastic music, movie and option to camp equates to a perfect family event.” 

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event as well as in the campground area.

Sunday, August 20 
4pm – Campground Opens for Arrivals 

Monday, August 21 
10am – Day Parking Opens for Arrivals 
11am – 12pm Great Inflatable Race – Team Races 
12pm – 1pm Great Inflatable Race – Kids Race 
1pm – 2pm Great Inflatable Race – Open Play 
2:30 – 3pm Eclipse 
(Totality begins at approximately 2:43pm and lasts for 2 minutes,15 seconds) 
3pm – 5pm Great Inflatable Race – Open Play continues 

Music & Movie Schedule: 
3:30pm – Edwin McCain (1 hour concert) 
5pm – Corey Smith (1 hour concert) 
6:30pm – Uncle Kracker (90 minute concert) 
9pm – Movie Presentation (First-run, TBA movie on the big screen) 

Tuesday, August 22 
10am – Campground Closes 

Ticket Prices: 
G/A Lawn $25 – this includes all music and the movie. 
Car Camping $75 – 2-Day Car Camping Pass. This price also includes the movie. 
RV Camping $150 – 2-Day RV Camping Pass. This price also includes the movie. 

Great Inflatable Race Prices: 
Team Price – $300 for 4-person team 13 years and over ($75 per person includes the race ticket, goodie bag, access to Open Play, concert ticket, movie and 1 Preferred Parking Pass for the team) 
Kids Price – $40 single tickets for children 12 years and under ($40 per child includes the race ticket, goodie bag, access to Open Play, concert ticket and movie) 
Open Play – $25 single ticket – this is for Open Play only from 1-2pm and 3-5pm 

Please note that all ticket prices will go up by $5 after August 1 and an additional $5 the day of the event.
