Business Details

We began with a single office and three employees in 1989.  Today, we represent the Lowcountry with over 80 exclusive beach vacation rental properties, more than 95 real estate agents and employees, five full-service offices and many plans for the future.

We are still locally owned and operated. Our offices have the entire Charleston Coast covered – from our original office on the Isle of Palms to our office at Bohicket Marina, offering Kiawah, Seabrook, Johns Island and Wadmalaw.  Our Folly Beach location covers not only the beach but all areas West of the Peninsula including James Island and West Ashley. The Real Estate Studio, our flagship office, in the heart of downtown Charleston‘s historic shopping district, serves all areas of the Charleston Coast. We’ve recently added a team of Mount Pleasant specialists to serve the fastest-growing town in the Charleston area.

Our licensed, experienced real estate agents make buying and selling on the Charleston Coast a priority. As permanent residents, our real estate agents realize clients are more than out-of-town customers or rental owners. They are our future neighbors.

We know and love Charleston and the Lowcountry. Whether it’s a vacation home, an investment or a primary residence, real estate is always an important purchase, and it deserves the attention of a dedicated professional. How can we serve you? Let us know today.

Although the Isle of Palms Office of dunes properties moved to its current location at 1400 Palm Boulevard in 1991, the story goes back to 1989.  It was a very eventful year, which brought Hurricane Hugo to the Charleston Coast and many of Randy Walker’s longtime clients from his years at Wild Dunes needed someone there on the ground to report on the damage and the progress in the days, weeks and months after the storm. So began a business built first and foremost on service, meeting the needs of clients who weren’t certain whom they could trust to look after their interests.

“What we thought would be exclusively a real estate sales business turned into a property management business as well,” Randy says, “and from that we got into the vacation rental business too.  That hurricane stirred up quite a change in plans for dunes properties and my vision for the business.”

Today the Isle of Palms Office, at 1400 Palm Boulevard, houses around 20 real estate agents, 5 employees, as well as members of the executive team.  This office serves the Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes, Sullivans Island, and Mount Pleasant. Conveniently located at the base of the IOP connector, the Isle of Palms Office is open: Mon- Sat 9am-5pm
