While Attendees Enjoy Annual Merriment,  Exchange Club of Charleston Bask In All They Can Give Back to Community

Kids of all ages annually anticipate the return of the Coastal Carolina Fair. And each and every year the fine folks behind the fair, including the Exchange Club of Charleston and partners such as Reithofer Shows (rides & entertainment), Netterfields (concessions), local vendors, businesses, first responders, and volunteers do their best to provide an awesome time for those who attend. 

While several of your favorite rides, attractions, games, and food & drink are back there are a few newbies that fair goers might want to take note. The following will give attendees an overview of what to expect at the 2024 Coastal Carolina Fair.

Newly upgraded Ring of Fire, featuring cutting-edge riding cars and a thrilling 360-degree spin. "Ring of Fire' is one of the most beloved rides in America. It boasts new automated shoulder bars that securely hold riders in place, spinning at about 10 revolutions per minute. Ride fans are going to love it!” 

For adult guests, the midway will introduce the Flying Dutchman, which will spin riders 360 degrees while soaring approximately 40 feet in the air. Meanwhile, younger children can enjoy the Wiggle Worm, designed for a gentle, steady ride that parents can share with their little ones. Reithoffer Shows will showcase around 65 rides, blending both kiddie and adult attractions.

The kiddie rides will be organized in two distinct areas, creating a special space for families. Adult riders can experience The Beast, which swings riders 360 degrees in a massive pendulum motion. Reithoffer Shows is the pioneer in offering this thrilling ride. 

If you love fried foods and pickles than the 2024 Coastal Carolina Fair's new food lineup will have your mouth watering. When it comes to food the fair focuses on thinking outside the box! The main reason for the season: As they've done for over 60 years, the Exchange Club of Charleston in conjunction with the fair have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to local and state charities and non-profits. During the 2023-24 calendar year over 75 organizations have received financial gifts and or grants from the Exchange Club.

People come out to the fair every year. They come with family members, kids, grandparents, friends, church groups, and more. Just know that a portion of each and every dollar collected at the gate or inside the park in some way, shape, or form is returned to the tri-county community to support the aforementioned non-profit organizations, and the Exchange Club of Charleston is beyond thrilled to have any part in helping out.
