Celebrating 26 Years of Party at the Point returns to Harbor Resort & Marina over on Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant. Charleston’s premier Happy Hour concert series takes place Friday evenings 5-9pm, April 17 - July 17. Hey baseball fans, your Charleston RiverDogs play host all weekend long to Columbia, in a battle of two teams from the Palmetto State. Stay after the game on Friday night for fireworks. It's back. Charleston Race Week at Patriot’s Point will celebrate its 30th anniversary this weekend Friday thru Sunday. On Saturday the annual Lowcountry Cajun Festival returns to James Island County Park with a full day of toe-tapping Zydeco music, bold Cajun and Creole flavors, kid-friendly activities, and all-around ragin’ Cajun fun. The North Charleston Coliseum complex is busy all weekend. At the Performing Arts Center it's the legendary Broadway show 'The Wiz'. Charleston Stage Co. at the historic Dock Street Theater continue their run of 'Come From Away'. Based on the phenomenal true story, Come From Away welcomes audiences to Gander, Newfoundland, a small town whose population nearly doubled overnight following the emergency landing of 38 planes after the events of September 11, 2001. Strangers learn to lean on one another to find comfort and warmth during one of the most harrowing times of their lives, turning anxieties into unbreakable bonds as they wait out uncertainty. From April 17th to June 26th, the Town of Kiawah Island will host a Food Truck Friday series, bringing flavorful foods and diverse selections to the Kiawah Island Town Hall Lawn 4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway. From 11am. to 3pm., each Friday will feature one rotating savory food truck, offering a variety of options - from pizza to global flavors. Any weekend is a good weekend to take in any performance by Charleston Mystery Theatre group at The Black Fedora at 164 Church Street. You'll be watching a comic mystery play in a cozy theatre where the cast performs alongside volunteer audience "actors!" All the room's a stage and the audience members are players in the show.
