'Blast From the Past' Returns To Charleston Music Hall

When a freak meteor shower hits a vintage vinyl record shop strange things begin to happen. Written by Brad Moranz, ‘Blast From The Past’ is a perfect mix of ‘Back To The Future’ and ‘American Bandstand’ meets 'Little Shop of Horrors' and 'Field of Dreams'. blastpast1

Throw in a little Austin Powers and you’ve got the makings a totally awesome show, that is ‘Groovy Baby’. This original show features some of the biggest hit songs from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

Brad and Jennifer Moranz are perfectly cast as modern day hippie parents unaware their vintage record shop is about to be foreclosed. When their daughter Suzie realizes the oldies platters are coming to life, she and fellow co-worker Billy Ray plan a concert to introduce kids to rock pioneers and in turn hope to sell records, thus keeping her parents dream alive.
