'Nothing Is Impossible With God' Inspirational & Informative
Fox News Sunday Anchor Shannon Bream Reminds Readers God Calls the Least Likely To Carry Out His Will
Jeff Walker, Entertainment Writer
Often when we think about Biblical characters such as Moses, Joseph, Daniel, Joshua, Noah, Elijah, Gideon, Nehemiah, Jonah, and Peter we associate them as men set apart to carry out God's will. Aside from Jonah who deliberately defied God, we generally consider them all as great leaders or highly regarded prophets, known for their unwavering faith, integrity, and commitment to serve God unconditionally.
However, in Shannon Bream's latest book 'Nothing Is Impossible With God: Eleven Heroes. One God. Endless Lessons In Overcoming.', we discover while they were all victorious, and all called by God, they were commoners, filled with flaws, frequently questioning God. Although some of them were oracles and preachers, most of them were shepherds and fishermen.
Peter walked with Jesus, yet he was impetuous. Joseph was sold out by his brothers. Gideon and Moses challenged God over and over again. Jonah was downright indignant. Noah spent decades building the ark despite being ridiculed for doing so. All the men outlined in Bream's book may have been uncertain what the future held, but they eventually acted out of faith.
While we don't normally associate Jesus (the eleventh man profiled in the book) as imperfect, he did take on human form and was subject to several of the same struggles mankind faced during his earthly ministry. God's ideal son, a sinless man was beaten, battered, mocked, and crucified to provide redemption for mankind. Jesus' inclusion in part three of Bream's book personifies the chapters subtitle 'God With Us, Is the Ultimate Overcomer'.
Laced with uplifting scripture and and detailed accounts by Bream including fond memories of her childhood and career at Fox News, 'Nothing Is Impossible with God' is 280 plus pages of encouragement, albeit challenges. In Bream's new offering she reminds readers that no matter the trials and tribulations we encounter, we can face our hardships with hope, because of the assurance God's word provides.
Jesus tells his followers in John 16:33, "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world". 'Nothing is Impossible With God' is a reminder that no matter where we are in life, even when things appear difficult, if we place out trust in God, lay everything down at the Creator's feet, He offers eternal hope.
Shannon Bream admits she's not perfect, and has had her own moments where she's struggled, but as her prior books have noted, Bream is a strong woman of faith. If she had lived during the days of the old or new testament, I feel certain the Bible would have made mention of her.
'Nothing Is Impossible with God: Eleven Heroes. One God. Endless Lessons in Overcoming' is set for release in March of 2026. The book will be available through online booksellers, your favorite book store and through Fox News Books at https://www.foxnews.com/books
