Music on the Folly Pier: Moonlight Mixers are Back
The Folly Beach Pier will continue this year’s Moonlight Mixers series on Friday, June 5!
Celebrate summertime with some dancing on the Folly Beach Pier on select Friday evenings this summer. Each night will feature tunes from a DJ or live band. Live music will be performed on the pier by Dave Landeo Band on June 5, and by Calhoun’s Calling on Aug. 21. On July 31 and Sept. 18, DJ Bill Shelton will spin the hottest oldies and beach music.
Advance tickets are $10 per person; tickets sold on site will be $15 per person (kids 3 and under are free). Moonlight Mixers are a popular Folly Beach tradition, so advance tickets are recommended. Event hours are 7 – 10 p.m.
The Koko’s on the Pier Restaurant will have beer, wine, spirits, water and soda for purchase inside the event space at the end of the pier. Food and snacks will be available for purchase at the restaurant and the Gangplank Gift & Tackle Shop, both located at the entrance to the pier. Food, beverages and parking fees are not included with ticket purchase. No outside food or drink is allowed, and pets are not permitted at the event. Chairs are welcome outside of the dance area, as seating is limited.
Remaining dates in the 2026 Moonlight Mixers schedule are:
- June 5 with Dave Landeo Band
- July 31 with DJ Bill Shelton
- Aug. 21 with Calhoun’s Calling
- Sept. 18 with DJ Bill Shelton
