"We are delighted to welcome Tina Postel as Lowcountry Food Bank's next CEO," said Rich White, Chair of the Board of Directors. "Her experience, collaborative approach to leadership, and commitment to ensuring people have access to nutritious food make her an excellent choice to lead our organization."

The appointment follows an extensive and highly competitive national recruitment effort. Postel currently lives in Fort Mill, South Carolina, and has personal ties to the region. She plans to move to Charleston and looks forward to a long-term commitment to Lowcountry Food Bank and the communities it serves.

"Hunger relief has become deeply personal to me, and I could not be more excited to continue this work with Lowcountry Food Bank. I believe deeply that access to nutritious food is fundamental to the health, dignity, and strength of every community. I am honored by the opportunity to build upon the tremendous work already underway and eager to work alongside the extraordinary people and partners who bring this mission to life every day."
