What are lash lifts?? A lash lift is a natural alternative to lash extensions which give your lashes a lovely curl. Although both services are great ways to show off the eyes; lash lifts are for people that want a more natural look. The process of a lash lift is very simple:

In step one the esthetician gently but thoroughly cleans the lashes, which removes any residue from old makeup.

Then, a silicone rod is glued to the eyelid at the lash line (the glue is safe for the eyelids.)

Step three is the most crucial part, the gluing of the lashes to the silicone rod. When gluing the lashes, the esthetician should make sure that the lash is glued straight up. By doing this it will ensure that you get the best results in the lifting of the lash!

After the lashes are secured to the rod, the perming product will be placed on the lashes...

After the perming solution is done processing it is removed, and a conditioning treatment is applied to the lashes. The processing of these products could take 6-10 mins.

After the solutions are removed the final step is to tint the lashes. When tinting the lashes, we use a deep black tint to dye the lashes to make it appear as if you have mascara on! With this service you want to prepare yourself to be laying down with your eyes closed for at least an hour!

The lash lift can last up to 8-12 weeks and the tint last two weeks; with proper care. You should avoid use oil products to remove eyeliner and eyeshadow. The oils in products break down the tint and will make the lashes softer and cause the lift to fall. Once your tint fades away you can come back in and get them tinted again with no worries of messing up your lash lift!
