Neighborhood Pub & Gaming Center Has Become Mount Pleasant's Latest Hot Spot

Open 4-12am Monday thru Friday, 11am-12am Saturday, and 11-9pm on Sunday the all new MIX at 730 Coleman Blvd. in Mount Pleasant is a family friendly entertainment complex earlier in the day, catering to adults (21 & older) after 7pm nightly. The best way to describe MIX is a 21st century upscale pub, featuring unique food & drink, alongside the most popular pub activities including duck pin bowling, axe-throwing, curling, and the ever classic darts. 

If you want to set yourself apart you sometimes have to re-invent the wheel. There are plenty of places east of the Cooper to go have a drink and throw darts. And, there are a handful of locations in greater Charleston to enjoy axe-throwing. On the other hand duck pin bowling and curling while gaining in popularity are hard to come by throughout the lowcountry.

MIX is simply providing more entertainment activities for adults to enjoy, in a safe and fun environment after work and on the weekends. Hosting a team building or company social, maybe throwing a bachelor or bachelorette party than consider MIX. They offer private & semi-private spaces as well as full venue use for your special event. Imagine celebrating a 50th birthday bash or an employees retirement party where guests can enjoy a variety of activities alongside good food and drink. 

When not closed for a private function MIX is open to the public to enjoy eight lanes of duck pin bowling and three axe throwing bins with a host of digital games that provide even more fun and challenges. Curling (similar to shuffleboard), has become the latest rage, and MIX offer up their own version of the popular winter Olympic sport.

The menu encompasses a nice mix (pun intended) of unique and everyday bar foods, including easy to eat handhelds, which is essential when you're engaged in stiff competition with friends or fellow workers. Leaning towards unique maybe order the Bacon Jam Burger topped with gouda on a brioche bun or the California Turkey Burger draped in veggies and chipotle aioli. Vegans are deliciously welcome at MIX with an Impossible Burger on a gluten-free bun.

Want quicker pop in your mouths edibles between your turn at darts or curling, consider either the Fried Pickles, Green Tomatoes or Cauliflower Bites. Keeping it old school order up their Loaded Potato Skins, Mile High Nachos, or locally sourced salty boiled peanuts. Local always taste good. Their Chicken Wings and half dozen Flatbreads including the Margherita topped fresh sliced mozzarella, tomato, fresh basil, cracked black pepper in an olive oil base go great with a signature cocktail. 

Aside from an ample indoor gaming area and large bar MIX also have a secluded open air well-manicured courtyard where guests can enjoy a table with swings as chairs, an outside covered bar area, ping-pong, and corn-hole while acoustic-style artists perform on a semi-regular basis.
