While a former BiLo is no longer a supermarket at 4391 Dorchester Road, the new business Next Round Social that took over the location is a 'super amusement center' in Dorchester Square in North Charleston at the corner of Leeds Avenue. 

In the area where you used to select produce you can now enjoy neon-lit duckpin bowling. Instead of having a butcher slice meat in the deli, you can now hurl sharp objects during friendly axe throwing featuring state of the art scoring, with a more kid friendly version set up as well.

Plus the dairy section has been transformed into gamified (it's a real word) interactive mini-golf, with the remainder of the former store, where patrons once strolled up and down the grocery aisles, now converted into a giant arcade showcasing games from yesteryear and today.

Participatory entertainment aside, Next Round Social offer up awesome food and drinks, consisting of a menu teeming with preferred handhelds created to make it easy to eat and enjoy whatever activity suits your fancy. And the entire experience is designed to combine good food, good times, and good fellowship under one roof.

Although not overly extensive, Next Round's menu covers everyone's favorites, including a dozen plus shareables, five signature burgers and flatbread pizzas, as well as tacos, wraps, sandwiches, and beef sliders. Forks are best used for a Chicken Tender or Taco Salad, and might be easier to use when eating their Vanilla Bean Cheesecake.

Some of the marquee items include the Bacon Jam Burger, a beefy carnivore lovers delight layered with provolone, apple-wood smoked bacon, beer-braised onions, mayo, and baby arugula, on a fresh brioche bun. Yum yum! Their Firecracker Shrimp and Pulled Pork tacos laced respectively with cilantro-lime slaw (shrimp) and cilantro, grilled red onions, queso fresco, and salsa verde on the pork taco will excite the taste-buds.

If you further want to awake your palate than the Nashville Flatbread pizza will suffice, providing a zesty and sweet combination. Thin and crispy topped with
Hot- buffalo sauce, hand-battered fried chicken, mozzarella, and dill pickle slices, before being slathered with a hot honey drizzle.

Not a beef eater or just in the mood for something different, than perhaps the Turkey Melt will satisfy your hunger. Sliced smoked turkey, bacon, provolone, tomato, and red onion on a sourdough bread, further enhanced by a zest of basil pesto mayonnaise.

Maybe begin with meal with an oversized Bavarian pretzel served nicely with spicy mustard and queso, or feast on Deviled Eggs complete with fresh jalapeno, apple-wood smoked bacon, and baby arugula. Darn-tootin they have plump and juicy jumbo wings on the menu. Get them with buffalo, sweet chili, mango habanero, bbq, garlic parmesan, and or Cajun dry rub sauces, served alongside buttermilk ranch and celery.

They even serve up Crab Rangoon (popular American-Chinese appetizer made of a crispy fried wonton) filled with cream cheese and sweet chili sauce. Go old school and start with Fried Pickle Spears, Loaded Waffle Fries, or Nachos Supreme. Basically a well-rounded menu comprised of everyday comfort foods.
Nicely done! Hanging out until closing, Next Round Social's late night menu served up after 10pm features several of their shareables and flatbread pizzas! Ideal for curing the munchies while gaming. 

Invigorating cocktails and mocktails to accommodate a wide variety of beverage lovers. Signature alcohol concoctions include a Mocha (chocolate cream liquor) and Watermelon Crush (puree, sours & cranberry juice) martinis blended with vodka. Their alcohol infused personal pitchers come many varieties including Cherry Coke and Red Bull flavors. The rum and vodka laced Tie Dye is a colorful splash of orange triple sec, blue curacao, green melon schnapps, and red grenadine. A smooth and comforting drink with a cool, yet rebellious kick. The usual preferred beers and soft drinks round out the drink menu. 

Stealing from the website's homepage Next Round Social is Charleston area’s newest entertainment destination, where premium dining, craft cocktails, and friendly competition collide under one neon-lit roof. No reservation needed, just walk in and play. Booking is only for private events and group parties with package deals available. No doubt Next Round Social makes for a great after hours company outing or a team building social.

If you enjoy besting people with your all-around knowledge, they host trivia on Thursdays, and for the boot-scootin crowd they offer up line dancing on Sundays. Come hang out with family and friends. Enjoy friendly competition while keeping up with the latest sports on their 18 TVs placed around the bar and throughout the place.
