See The Impact Of Chefs’ Feast 2026

Over $640,000 raised to support Lowcountry Food Bank's Childhood Feeding Programs

LCFB Press Release

It was an evening to honor the legacy of the late Chef Bob Carter, the founder of Chefs' Feast, and to nourish dreams and fuel the futures for local children.

The 2026 Chefs' Feast, presented by Atlas Tech, was a truly unforgettable night of impact. 38 chefs; 47 sponsors; nearly 500 guests came together with one shared purpose: to ensure that all coastal South Carolina children have consistent access to the nourishing food they need to thrive. Thanks to our amazing community, more than $640,000 was raised to support Lowcountry Food Bank's Childhood Feeding Programs.

This year's Chefs' Feast also paid a special tribute to the late Chef Bob Carter, who founded the event in 1999 and whose vision continues to shape its impact today.

In 2013, Chef Carter reflected on the humble beginnings of the event he started with a small circle of friends. "That first year, I invited nine chefs - nine friends, rather -  to come together for something I called Chefs' Feast. We cooked for 300 guests.

"What began as a gathering of friends has grown into one of the Lowcountry's most impactful culinary events with the purpose to ensure all coastal South Carolina children have consistent access to nourishing food."

As Jacques Larson, Chefs' Feast Chef Chair and Executive Chef of Wild Olive and Obstinate Daughter, shared with guests. "He was a mentor to me, and I value the legacy this event represents to many of us in the room tonight. Your support helps ensure that children have access to healthy food to help them grow and thrive. Together, we can make a significant impact on children's lives."

The impact of the evening extends far beyond one evening. At a time when food insecurity rates have reached a 20-year high, your support helps LCFB and our 240+ partner agencies provide nourishing food to children and families who need it most.

Thank you to all the chefs, sponsors, donors, and supporters who made our 27th Annual Chefs' Feast an unforgettable event. To learn more about LCFB visit the website at https://lowcountryfoodbank.org/
